ARUNA has been at the forefront of HIV response in Odisha since 1994, implementing comprehensive prevention, care, and support programs that have reached tens of thousands of individuals and communities. Our work spans awareness, treatment linkages, and long-term psychosocial support.
Our Key Interventions
Targeted Interventions (TI)
Implementing behaviour change communication, condom distribution, and linkages to testing and treatment services for high-risk populations including female sex workers, migrants, and MSM/TG communities.
PPTCT Programme
Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission services across 30 districts of Odisha, ensuring HIV-positive pregnant women receive appropriate care and treatment to prevent transmission to their children.
Care & Support Services
Comprehensive support for people living with HIV including adherence counseling, nutritional support, psychosocial counseling, and linkages to government schemes and entitlements.
Link Workers Scheme
Community-based HIV prevention program in rural Ganjam, deploying trained link workers to spread awareness, reduce stigma, and facilitate access to testing and treatment services.
